Really nicely started filly with a soft face, willing attitude, super nice temperment and confidence. Daphne has a rocking horse lope, a smooth jog and a naturally low head. She is very soft in the face and works hard to do the right thing. Daphne is nice to ride in or out of the pen. Her perfect conformation and soft eye are mearly highlighted by her soft buttermilk buckskin color!

With a pedigree like hers, coupled with 'who she is' - we have no doubt she will be a success! She looks poised to make her debut in the show pen in the late spring of 2010 in the reining and working cow horse classes!

Flawless conformation, beautiful rich color, breathtaking movement, thick black mane & tail and she is absolutly stunning to look at. This filly is incredibly elegant and has very fancy movement. She moves around low headed naturally, and is incredibly deep in her hock as she moves around the pen.

This is one of the most naturally talented reining prospects we have ever seen.

Promise is a very special filly to me.

Not only is she the 1st daughter of my favorite mare of all times, not only is she black, not only is sired by a royally bred very successful show stallion.... but she is exactly as we ordered her - personality, spunk, playfullness and all! Flawlessly conformed, powerful, catty, graceful, quick footed and is a stylish mover and a big stopper. Promise exhibits the style of movement we have learned to strive for in our prospects that will have a dual event career.

One of my personal favorites for SO many reasons.

Hit The Lights is a 1999 Sorrel Stallion, by Grays Starlight, out of the elite broodmare and own daughter of Freckles Playboy - Playboys Promise (producer of earners of over 200K). In 2002, Dell Hendricks rode this talented athlete to the Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity Championship. Hit The Lights has also been a NRHA Futurity Finalist, NRBC Finalist, and NRHA Derby Finalist with Hendricks at the reins. With over $112,000 in lifetime earnings, Hit The Lights has THE temperment we look for and we feel he is THE IDEAL when it comes to a show stallion and a sire. His foals are easy, durable and extremely talented.
