POCO PINES RAVEN

"Raven"

Raven fall 2010

Raven is a beautiful mare with a very expressive eye and a gorgeous round frame mare.   …this is the kind of mare that could steer stop a freight train (in a manner of speaking).  Raven is the ideal outcross mare.  And to top it off she is homozygous black and therefore cannot produce a red foal.

Raven is a really honest mare and our daughter greatly enjoys spending time with her.  She has such a nice, easy way of going.... not a lot of motor here, but she is willing and easy every time out.  She has a low headed - smooth lope, easy changes, and the slowest pitter-pat jog.   Raven proves her versatility in almost any arena with consistent ability and a willing attitude.  Raven has worked the big cattle yards - a true working cow horse without the glitz and glamour, we hope to give that to her foals.
